What was the problem?
Mr P was in dire need of a tree surgeon one Saturday afternoon when a van driver lost control of his vehicle and ploughed into his front garden in Harlow, Essex, taking down half a conifer hedge along the way. His property is situated on a main road and the damaged trees were encroaching on a pathway and access to the property.
What was the solution?
We attended immediately and removed the damaged trees, including the stumps. As the vehicle had leaked engine oil into the soil, the environment agency had to step in to prevent further contamination. We later planted 20 replacement semi-mature conifers to bring Mr P’s garden back to a healthy state.
What was the result?
Due to the severity of the issue we had no choice but to act immediately. We managed to see Mr P the day he called and came back to finish the planting when the environment agency had removed the contaminated soil. He was very grateful that we had been able to attend at such short notice and is happy that his garden has now been restored.
“You can never predict when something like this will happen. When it occurred I thought my garden was ruined for good. Finding tree surgeons that could come out at such short notice was a huge relief. Thankfully my garden has been completely restored, and now I’m happy to report that it looks even better than before!”
